Born in Brescia in 1993, he obtains his Bachelor and Master of Science Diploma in Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Torino respectively in March 2016 and April 2018. He earned the qualification of 110 cum laude with a M.Sc. thesis project with title "Delivery of piezoelectric nanotransducers across the blood-brain barrier: a smart tool for remote electric stimulation against glioblastoma multiforme", developed at the Smart Bio-Interfaces Lab, Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Center of Micro-BioRobotics (CMBR@SSSA), Pontedera (Pisa, ITALY). He is second author of the abstract presented at the 2018 European Advanced Materials Congress: "Nanoparticle-assisted remote electric stimulation inhibits glioblastoma multiforme cell proliferation"; based on part of his thesis work. For the quality of the manuscript and the multidisciplinarity of his experimental work, he was awarded at the XXXVII Annual Bioengineering School of Bressanone, Winner of the National Bioengineering Group master thesis award, Prize “Franco Maria Montevecchi”, Polytechnic University of Torino. He is now an INPhINIT Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Physics, University of Barcelona, and his work is focused on the development of engineered cell derived matrices for cancer modeling in vitro in the Group of Nanobioengineering (Prof. J. Samitier Martì), Institute for Bioengineering of Catalunia (IBEC), Barcelona (Spain).
